A short documentary which chronicles a first-of-its-kind public art mural project which took place in Rochester, NY in July 2011. The project involved local artists and a group of four artists from Cape Town, SA who shared their talents. Several murals were painted in hopes of inspiring the Rochester community. This privately funded project was sponsored by the Synthesis Collaborative, a Rochester-based nonprofit, and has been provided for online viewing by Ian Wilson, co-founder of The Synthesis Collaborative and producer of the documentary.

Thanks to Ian Wilson for putting together a nice change for Rochester artists and citizens. Four graffiti artists from Cape Town, South Africa came to the city to contribute. The out of town guests included: Dal, Faith 47, Mak1 and Ricky Lee Gordon. FUA crew was also a part of this new found project and put their cans to work at the wall mural on Troupe Street, near Cornhill District. Other work can be seen at the Public Market underpass and on East Main, near Richmonds bar. I was fortunate enough to be a part of this project, taking photos and documenting the work on video. Check out some stills that are posted here.
